The credibility of Miller Coffey Tate LLP's staff is built upon our strong track record for exceptional performance.  Each staff member has had significant education and practical experiences that can be drawn upon to develop innovative services to meet your needs.  Every staff member devotes a substantial amount of their time to continually improve their skills through continuing education and training.

 

Each engagement is led by a senior member of the firm with practical experience in the area which we are serving.  Below is a brief summary of backgrounds of our key staff members:

 

 

a general partner of the firm, has a diversified financial consulting career encompassing a broad range of projects and responsibilities.  Mr. Miller is a Chapter 7 panel bankruptcy trustee for the District of Delaware and has served as a Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee in several matters.  Mr. Miller has been determined to be an expert by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Court of Common Pleas.  Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Miller was a member of the management group of a "Big 4" international public accounting firm.  Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance.

 

 

a partner in the firm, has a career encompassing a broad range of accounting, consulting and management responsibilities, especially reorganizations under Bankruptcy Code.  Mr. Coffey has testified in U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Coffey was president of a company which operated under Chapter 11.  Other prior experiences include being a member of the management group of a "Big 4" international public accounting firm.  Mr. Coffey is a graduate of Villanova University.

 

 

a partner in the firm, has significant audit, tax and forensic accounting experience.  Mr. Tomlin has been determined to be an expert by the Court of Common Pleas.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tomlin worked for a major insurance company.  Mr. Tomlin is a graduate of Villanova University.

 

 

a principal in the firm, provides accounting and consulting services with an emphasis on bankruptcy, litigation support and forensic accounting.  Mr. Mastil has testified in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  Mr. Mastil also provides services in the fields of auditing and tax preparation.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mastil worked for a company in the elder care industry.  Mr. Mastil is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.

 

Mr. Miller, Mr. Coffey, Mr. Tomlin and Mr. Mastil are all members of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
